Hey guys! Happy 4th of July! They don't really celebrate it here so... Whatever. But I am going to a BBQ tomorrow with some other Americans to celebrate.
The weather has heated up here wayyyy too much and I am dying in this heat. As well as humidity some days. But life goes on. Almost 2 weeks til' my visit to the states! I can't wait! Dear California, please don't burn down before I get there. I've been hearing about fires all over the state and it's horrible again like last year. :(
Also, I'll be starting a photo of the day here so stay tuned!

The news about the brush fires in California seems to be a big deal here in Oz. Of course, Oz is not foreign to bush fires since gum trees (eucalyptus) are native here. Anyway, I life goes on in Sydney and am slowly settling in. The weather has been cool at night and sunny during the day (about low 70s) but, unlike Taiwan, there is NO humidity except for a rainstorm the other day.
I really got homesick on the 4th of July but today (Sunday, July 6th) I organized a BBQ here at the house with a few of my Aussie mates. Am going to cook steaks, burgers and prawns. Of course, I'm going to display a big ass American flag I got at a flag shop in downtown Sydney. So, here's to America! Happy 4th!
